Although no one wants to be in the situation we're in at the moment, the partial lock down has provided me with some time to work on new creations. In normal, every day life there's always something that needs to be done, an order to be fulfilled, the dog to be walked, shopping to be bought (it's a hard life!) so to work on something just for fun usually leaves me with a niggling sense of guilt. I am still concerned for the future but I'm not taking for granted the escape I find getting lost in the making process. I feel so lucky to have a workshop at the end of my garden that I can potter about in and be creative. I'm hoping to share more pieces with you over the next few weeks. I'm limited on materials but if you could make something what would it be? It's a bit early for swifts but the swallows should be with us soon. These are hand cut from a flat sheet of plain unanodised aluminium.
