Ta da!

A few weeks ago @atworkgalleries set a recycled parcel challenge where we were sent items destined for landfill and tasked to make a piece of jewellery. There was a fair bit of anticipation and fretting when I opened the parcel to find a pair of flip flops and wobbly plastic moulds... even Sidekick-Sookie-Spaniel was a little biscomdobulated*. But once I started it was a really enjoyable challenge... and there were some challenges! It's certainly opened my eyes to casually throwing things away which could be turned into something creative and hopefully pretty 😉 To me this necklace screams "SUMMER" which I suspect we're all looking forward to as I look out of the window at steady drizzly rain. (I wonder if it floats 🤔) This Friday we're having a webinar to chat about our creations and experiences and I can't wait to see what the others have made!
