This contemporary craft fair is organised by artists for artists and is growing from strength to strength. “We pride ourselves on creating high quality events where creatives can showcase their talents to potential buyers. I have a trip coming up in October when I'll be heading up to beautiful Yorkshire Dales for the @designermakersmarket at the renowned @tennantsauction in Leyburn North Yorkshire.

The emphasis, at these events, is on original and contemporary work, with a strong 'up-cycled' theme. Giving the opportunity to meet the designer makers in person and buy unique handcrafted goods of gallery quality.

It's not long until the @hurstfestival which also means it's not long until the #hurstopenstudios. It was about 8 or 9 years ago I did my first @hurstpierpointstudios in our beautiful village of #Hurstpierpoint in West Sussex so I’m really looking forward to be involved again this year. Over 25 artists and makers will be opening their doors so come and chat with us whether you're an art lover, collector, or simply curious come support local talent and be inspired! There will be jewellers, artists, ceramicists, photography, woodturning and refreshments along the way. They are also open 20 -12 September so I'll be @craftinfocus @hever_castle that weekend but if you're about the village it'll be worth dropping by.
