Without giving away too many trade secrets, here's an insight into how I make some of the earrings...
Once the colours have been sealed in and the metal is fully dry they're cut out using a piercing saw. This leaves some rough edges so they're filed and sanded using different grades of paper to remove any sharp edges and burrs giving a lovely smooth edge. To add that little bit extra sparkle they're polished and finally formed into a curved design ready to go to their new owner. Some can be more complicated to make than others and you can see more earring creations here. Did you know they can also be made as clip on earrings if you haven't found the courage to have your ears pierced yet!
